iPhone 11 vs 12 vs 13
iPhone 11 vs 12 vs 13: the decision was not difficult for us.
Published 19 Apr, 2023 - Back Market has received B Corp status, joining companies like Patagonia as a certified "Benefit Company." Learn what this means for Back Market, and for you, as a customer of Back Market.
We’re excited to officially join the “B list” (alongside companies like Patagonia and Allbirds) in gaining B Corp status. This means that from our environmental impact to our hiring practices, we’re working toward a more inclusive and sustainable economy. While we’ve been doing business like this for a while, B Corp certification means we’re legally accountable to continue to uphold these standards in the future — and we’re excited to do so.
B Corp is a third-party certification for "businesses meeting high standards of verified performance, accountability, and transparency on factors from employee benefits and charitable giving to supply chain practices and input materials." To gain B Corp status, companies go through a rigorous audit of everything from their environmental and social impact to business practices to determine if they’re acting for the common good. Luckily for us, this mostly meant formalizing practices that were already in use.
C, D, and E, of course. We’re thrilled to have this official title, but it’s just one letter on our endless journey to bring more sustainability to the tech world. Sustainable business practices can’t really be sustainable if they don’t take into account the holistic impact of a business — like employee wellness, DEI training, and impact on customers.
